R. Wayne Peters
Wayne is the Managing Partner and one of the original founders of the Firm. He represents clients in such matters as business sales and acquisitions, family business, business succession planning, tax and estate planning and wealth preservation planning. Typical clients include individuals, startup and growing businesses, manufacturers, franchisees, banks, automobile dealerships and foundations. He actively practices law in Tennessee and Georgia and is licensed to practice in all courts of both states. He is also licensed to practice in the United States Tax Court.

Wayne was elected to the Order of the Coif, a national legal honor society, upon graduation from law school. He was selected as a Fellow in the Tennessee Bar Association, an honor bestowed on attorneys who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession. He has also been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America in the areas of tax law, trusts and estates. Wayne is certified as an Estate Planning Law Specialist and is a General Civil Mediator.
