Terry Cavett


Terry A. Cavett, a member of the Firm, has extensive experience in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, business formation and business transactions. During her 28 years of practice with the Firm, Terry has worked with hundreds of clients in formulating successful strategies for lifetime management of assets and transmission of assets at death, to carry out both basic and complex will and trust planning, including planning designed to manage and transmit wealth during life and at death and to minimize transfer taxes. Terry considers as a primary goal in her estate planning practice to formulate effective estate plans through establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with other family consultants such as investment advisors, banking and trust officers, CPAs and financial planners so as to coordinate successful estate planning results for her clients. Terry's practice also heavily emphasizes assisting families in the administration of estates in Hamilton County and surrounding counties in Tennessee. She also represents numerous business owners and assists in the formation and maintenance of business entities.

Terry has 2 adult children, and she resides in Hixson, Tennessee. She is a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church
