Robin Miller is a member of the firm and practices primarily in the field of estate and trust litigation, representing clients both at the trial and appellate levels. Trusted by the local courts for her insight into the problems of children and adult incompetents, she is often appointed to represent their interests as a guardian ad litem. Robin also has extensive experience in divorce matters involving marital estates with substantial assets.
Robin has achieved significant results for her clients in a number of matters. Recently, she facilitated an estate settlement that resulted in a transfer of assets to her client totaling. She has litigated several matters involving a large estate in both Tennessee and Georgia that have resulted in the defeat of a will contest and contract claims involving a bank, the estate's largest asset.
Robin also has extensive appellate experience, having obtained successful results on appeal.
Robin serves on the board of the Tennessee Justice Center, a non-profit entity dedicated to serving and advocating for the legal needs of the poor. As a hearing panel member for the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility, Robin hears matters relating to the ethical conduct of lawyers. Robin currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of Chattanooga's Kids on the Block, Inc., an organization dedicated to fighting and responding to child abuse. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Chattanooga Ballet.
Robin and her husband, Bob Bires, have two daughters, and are members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
